The tongue slipped back in and the incursean gave a slight huff. Humans didn’t have that fast of a reflex! “Good timing short stuff. Well…I guess I’ll just start shooting then. Though that probably won’t work either.” Attea had gotten used to that really. No one important ever got hit by it! Oh sure, barrels of citizens could be vaporized but not the one person she actually wanted it to hit!
“Take this or whatever.”
Is that all the little lizard has? How adorable. She jumps, rolls, ducks behind a corner for cover and starts laughing. Cackling, really. "At least make it a challenge,“ she drawls, poking her head out so she can look at her. "That isn’t human technology, is it? Just who are you?”
“Well if you insist.” She shrugged and gave Tak a grin. Of course she was going to do a little something extra to make sure the shot actually hit the girl. Readying herself, she lashed out her long tongue in an attempt to wrap it around her and keep her in place.
“Aha~”
The tongue is surprising; she’d been expecting a gun or something like that. But she just about manages to dodge the attack, though it’s a close shave. She scoffs. “Nice try, frog-face.”
“You humans have to make everything so complicated. Since you won’t comply to my simple request, I’ll just have to shoot off an arm or a leg to motivate you.”
"Us humans?” Cue the unsettling laughter. “Like I said, your threats don’t scare me. But I suppose you’re welcome to try and shoot me.”
“Hey short stuff, do me a favor and go get me a soda. I don’t have any earth money to buy one from the vending machines. In exchange for getting me one, I won’t kill you.”
"Ha! You’re petty threats don’t scare me, huma – uh, whatever you are. It’s not my problem if you don’t have enough money.”
